(Dr. Alaa Jaweed Jameed), a faculty member in the College of Energy and Environmental Science at Al-Karkh University of Science received a patent in the field of chemistry.

The patent, which was completed in cooperation with the Faculty members of the College of Science at Al-Mustansiriya University, who are Dr. Abdel-Jabbar Khalaf Attia, Dr. Muhammad Faraj Shazir and Dr. Sahar Abdullah Qassem and the senior chemist Asma Abdel-Baqi Marioush, aims to prepare a new compound of derivatives 1 3 - oxazole to benefit from it in the therapeutic and health field .
