Professors from the College of Remote Sensing and Geophysics at Karkh University of Science participated in the first conference on the Smart City (Smart Baghdad), which was held in the University College of Heritage, with the participation of a number of government agencies and private sector companies.
The conference, which was held under the title Digital Transformation in Higher Education, included a presentation of e-learning platforms, digital transformation and simulation of e-learning in developed countries, and presented the vision of a number of public and private universities and colleges in the field of e-education and digital transformation.
The conference aims to familiarize the attendees with the technical and technological transformation that Baghdad will witness in keeping pace with global development, as well as how to use and employ technology in all areas of life, including education as the main pillar and starting point for societies.
Al-Karkh University of Science encourages and supports the digital environment and technical and technological transformation, including education and the establishment of smart cities.
