The Chancellor of Al-Karkh University for Sciences, Prof. Dr. Thamer Abdulameer Hasan, honored the students of the Forensic Evidence Department in the College of Science after obtaining advanced positions within the conclusion of the Second Scientific Olympiad for students of Iraqi and Arab universities, in the presence of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Luay Kazem Abboud.
The student Ronak Qaiser won the seventh place, and the student Musa Kazem ranked the tenth, after a discreet scientific competition with the participating students.
The Chancellor of the University said that "the aim of celebrating them is to generalize the positive phenomenon and fight the negative one, even if it is rare, and to motivate students to make more efforts, to be able to contribute to the progress and prosperity of Iraq, and that the students of Al-Karkh University of Science are an important model in the Iraq universities.
For his part, Dr. Luay Kazem Abboud said that "the students are the future of the country and through them the country develops and prospers, calling on them to follow the utmost levels of professionalism and sincerity.
For their part, the students welcomed the university's initiative and its celebration of the Olympiad winners, as they presented this success to the Chancellor of the University, stressing his prominent role in making the leadership personality and giving the pioneering role to the students of Al-Karkh University of Science.
It is noteworthy that the Second Scientific Olympiad was organized by the Department of Scientific Affairs at the Presidency of the University of Basra, sponsored by Al-Karkh University for Science and the Tech Academy for Training, Development and Studies, through the Yaqeen platform, with the participation of 101 male and female students from various Iraqi and Arab universities, for the master’s and bachelor’s levels.
